When: January 30th Friday, 5pm to February 1st Sunday until 12pm
Theme: The Five Solas
Mission: Our goal is to create a space for individuals to be served when they are typically serving. We aim to do that through in-depth discussions that churches rarely dig into, so that they may have a deeper knowledge of the richness of how God has formed the church. This year we want to talk about the Five Solas. Many in our community do not know why they are protestant, nor do they have an idea of what the important distinctions and how the church fathers concluded these stances. The majority of our community will be hearing of this topic for the very first time, so the learning curve will be high. Our hope is to inform and to enrich the attendees to know how, through scripture and understanding God's attributes, we can defend and give an account of why the reformers added "alone" to the end of each "sola".
The CVCF Winter Retreat is for servants in the local churches and individuals ranging from 22 and older.
