Pastor Ken Tran
Hello, brothers and sisters. I'm Pastor Ken and I'm married to Chi (sister) TV (Tee Vee) and is a father to Milli, Izzi, Uriah, and Asa. We reside in in Northern Virginia. As a couple, we have also been blessed to be able to walk alongside individuals and younger couples to encourage, edify, and exhort them in their walk with the Lord. We believe that discipleship in the context and genuine and authentic relationships bear the greatest and lasting fruits. As a family we enjoy playing board games, nature/scenic walks, foods, and movies. Joshua 24:15 is our life verse, "as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." We look forward to spending time with and serving you at CVCF 2021.
Pastor Stephen Weeks
What's Up! I grew up in a small city in eastern North Carolina where there may be more pigs than people. As a teenager, I came to know and love Jesus. I met my bride, Monica, at college. She is from Delaware. After graduating, we were married and moved to North Carolina where
I received my Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2013.
We have been graced with 3 sweet girls: Charlotte, Mercy, and Charis. After serving for 4 years on staff with a church in NC, we sensed the Spirit leading us to move to Philadelphia to make disciples and see this great city saturated with worshipers in all of life.

He is married to his beloved, Emily Jean Tran. Currently, he teaches in the Bible Department of the Senior School at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) in Jakarta, Indonesia. His wife teaches 3rd Grade within the Junior School. Pastor Khoa has a heart for discipleship, preaching the gospel and teaching the word of God, first foremost to himself, and then to the world around him. During his free time, he loves playing tennis and basketball as well as eating anything with flavor.
Khanh Pham
My name is Khanh Pham (aka Kenny). I’m currently serving at Orlando Vietnamese Baptist Church in Florida. I love sharing God’s life-giving word with others through working with the biblical languages. In my free time I like to play basketball, football, and piano. My vacation dream is to visit all of the national parks before the Lord calls me home. As I am given the privilege to share at CVCF this year, I pray that every person’s life will be transformed by the power of God’s love and the local churches will be strengthened by the young lives that are on fire for Jesus!
Dan Hacker
Dan grew up in Lawncrest, a neighborhood in NE Philly. As a graduate of NorthEast High School, he knew he wanted to serve the local church and share the love of Jesus through word and deed. To be well prepared, he pursued a Bible & Youth Ministry degree at Philadelphia Biblical University (he later received his Masters of Divinity at Cairn University). He had the opportunity to serve in a local youth ministry for 16 years, 8 of those full time, before serving at RCC in 2018.
He has been married to Shellie since 2012 and after he convinced her to leave the beautiful state of Tennessee for Philly (ha), they have been serving the greater Philadelphia area side by side, sharing the love and Word of Jesus! Together they trained in the Soma Sending Residency Program for 2 years which focused on preparing them for potential church planting. Shortly after they completed this program, they welcomed into the world their beautiful daughter, Lael, in December 2019!
They desire to display the Kingdom of Christ in many ways on their block, in their neighborhood and throughout the city! They are praying that the Spirit continues to use them to work in any way He leads so that the Kingdom can break in more and more, and that lives can be changed in the name of Jesus! Workshops
Youth Track
Topic: How to Have Intimacy with God
Speaker: Khanh Pham
Intimacy is what we call the experience of really knowing and being known by another person. To intimately know God, we must know crucial things about God. However, one common mistake is thinking that nearness to God can be achieved through knowledge accumulation. Khanh Pham will help us to understand how we can grow more intimate with God.
Topic: Dating with a Purpose
Speakers: Pastor young and Rebekah Le
Dating is not about you or the other person. When God brought Adam and Eve together, he had a purpose in mind. What is this purpose? Pastor Young and co Rebekah Le will help us to understand what we should aim for in Christian dating as well as guide us through what it looks like to pursue a godly relationship.
Topic: The Story of God
SPEAKER: DAN HACKER
Even though the Bible, from Genesis all the way to Revelation, was written by many people, it is one great unified story of God with one common theme, JESUS. However, we often look at the Bible bit by bit rather than as a whole. This causes us to miss God’s purpose in this story. In this workshop, Dan Hacker will unfold this Gospel story as well as portray how this story impacts our everyday lives.
Topic: Growing in Discernment: What is Biblical vs What is Cultural
SPEAKER: PASTOR KHOA LUKE TRAN
Not all cultural things are biblical; and not all biblical things are cultural. As Christians, we must know and live out God’s Word despite what the world says. But how can we discern what is biblical and what is cultural? In this workshop, Pastor Khoa Tran will walk us through ways that will help us to grow in discernment.
Leader Track
Topic: God’s Word as Correction: Loving One Another Through Reproof
SPEAKER: PASTOR STEPHEN WEEKS
Christians are called to build up and encourage one another to grow in the Gospel. This also includes confrontation and rebuking. Of course, it is not an easy thing to do. In this workshop, Pastor Stephen Weeks will walk us through how one can speak hard truth in someone’s life with love.
Topic: Jesus and Politics
SPEAKER: PASTOR KEVIN NGUYEN
We live in a world that has complex and imperfect government systems. As Christians, we are called to submit under government authority. We are also called to do what is good and godly. In today’s world, there are many confusions about what is biblical, what is preference, and what is cultural. How can we as Christian leaders be able to discern what is biblical, what is preference, and what is cultural with certain laws and policies? What stance should we take in today’s politics? How should we deal with political conflicts in our churches?
